Performance Profile
RA85H is a fully austenitic heat resistant alloy
modified with high silicon and aluminum. RA85H is
annealed to provide good high temperature strength
combined with excellent resistance to thermal
fatigue.
The addition of silicon to RA85H provides
exceptional resistance to carburization. This
property is critical in a variety of applications
including heat treating and waste incineration.
RA85H is welded with matching composition RA85H
bare filler wire, or AC/CD covered electrodes. For
GMAW, use 100% argon or argonhelium shielding gas,
do not add oxygen.
